Over the Hedge

If you've looked at the release lists recently, you'd see the Xbox is clearly hobbling towards its grave. The meager future software offerings are backed up by the most recent rental numbers from Blockbuster, as of Sunday May 28, 2006. The list was topped off by the PS2's version of X-Men: The Official Game, followed by Over the Hedge on the same system, and finally the Xbox's version of X-Men in the third spot. This was the only Xbox game on the top ten.

Activision has snapped up the rights to publish games based on the upcoming DreamWorks film Over the Hedge, a computer animated feature from the makers of Shrek and Madagascar. Despite releasing several screenshots, there's very little information available about the game, not even which format it will appear on. But as the Madagascar game appeared on every handheld and console, we can most likely expect a similar multiformat release. As for the film, it has Bruce Willis providing the voice
