Extra Yards
When you commit a penalty, let the ref talk. Then quickly do an extreme celebration. This should make your opponet charge the ref and commit a personal foul for unsportmanlike conduct.

Better Chance to win Heisman
You'll have a better chance at winning the Heisman Trophy if you are a running back, QB, or a wide recieiver. The better you do in the Spring Drills the better you will be.

Undefeated Seasons
If you want to make sure your team goes undefeated in dynasty mode and you don't feel like playing every game then all you have to do is take your I-A school out of its conference and put them in I-AA. Then switch the team back to I-A, but remember to replace the team with a 1A Independent team. This will let you pick your entire schedule and therefore let you choose the easiest and the hardest teams.

Easy Yardage for RBs
Let the QB run with the ball and then at the last second pitch the ball to your guy and the running back gets all the yards.
Easy Sacks
Using the 5-2 def set, spread out your linemen (L1, d-pad up). Control one of the DE's. Audible to slant out your linemen (L1, Right stick up).
Using 4-2-5 def, choose SS blitz and slant your linemen inward (L1, right stick down)
Remember that on any def play, you can audible a LB blitz. Simply hit LB audible (R1), then right stick either left, down, or right (LOLB, MLB, ROLB). If you are in a 3-4, 4-3, 4-4 ect. package, this will work as shown. Otherwise, it will choose the only LB you have (in dime, ect)
The corner blitz works amazingly well in this game, compared to earlier versions!
4-3 LB Blitz works best when you spread out your linemen (L1, d pad up) and scrunch in your LB's (R1, d pad down)
Don't always blitz from the same spot or formation. Come from the left, middle, right, man coverage, zone blitzes, safties, corners, ect., and mix it up! This will keep the AI rattled the best.

Tips for Success
AWESOME QB SCRAMBLE
This will only work if AI is in man cover...Use the hail mary 5 wide set. Hot route your 3 left recievers to the middle of the field. Soon as the path is clear, sprint towards that side, and you should have a big gain, with maybe only 1 guy to beat for a touchdown.
EXTRA RUN SUPPORT
If you are facing a team that runs 70% of the time (such as Alabama), sub in your backup safeties at the corners in your run d formations (4-4, 5-2, goaline). As long as you pick pass forms at the right times, you won't get burned too often doing this.
AUDIBLES ON THE ROAD
If you are playing a road game and have to audible, be sure to re check the play (R2) to make sure your players heard it. Sometimes it's best to just take a timeout instead of dealing with the fan noise.
HEISMAN MODE- RECIEVER
When trying out for reciever, remember that you get points for being open when the QB throws the ball, whether or not it goes to you. Sometimes if your designed route takes you into high traffic, you should try to find an alternate open spot on the field. This gets you the "open" points, as well as a reception opprotunity.
HEISMAN MODE- LB
Before you try to make the team as a LB, first hit spring training. You can set the skill level to what you want, but the best practice is on heisman. Choose a school that has an impact HB, (Like Nebraska) to practice against. Doing this makes the tryouts a piece of cake!
THE AI REMEMBERS
Use this to your advantage. For instance, run a QB sneak on 3rd & 1 a few times. Pretty soon, the AI will scrunch up its linemen and blitz its LBs. A quick pitch or slant pattern over the middle will go for big gains.
PUNT RETURNS
When returning punts, the most effective form is ret. left or right. Ret middle works occaisionally, but not often. If you try to block punts a lot, you will find the returns to be better when you try to return. This is because the punter gets rattled too.
THE BIG HIT
The best defense against a potent offense is the big hit (R3). Using this against wideouts rattles their nerves, and their awareness drops significantly for a while. The same is true for any player, although it is tough to get a big hit on the QB.

Celebrations
To celebrate while running into the endzone: Hold L and push the right analog stick to the right, left, bottom, or top. To celebrate after a touchdown: When you get into the endzone, hold L or R, & X, Y, or B.

The Ultimate Offensive Play
This play is flawless if you have a scrambling QB (like Vince Young from Texas or Troy Smith from Ohio State) but still works most of the time if you're a pocket type. The play is in the Ace - Big Twins set. It is called Post Cross. At the line hot route your RB so he goes to the TE side. For best results, have your slot WR run to the weak side of the field (if you're on the right side of the field go to the left sideline, vice versa). Then roll your QB in the direction that the slot WR is running. Here you will see if the Defense is in zone or man to man coverage. If zone, the slot will have found a hole in coverage so you laser the ball in to him. If the coverage is man-to-man (this is where it helps to have a fast QB) just take off up field for an easy gain.
