A few elements hold Live back from Hall of Fame-level greatness. Most baffling is the shocking number of shots near the basket that, perhaps because of the camera angle, manage to go off the back of the glass and cause a turnover. This never happens in the NBA, but it will happen to you at least once or twice a game. Furthermore, there seems to be a lid on the rim when you get close to it, as a startling number of lay-ups and dunks are amateurishly missed.

Nevertheless, NBA Live 06 is the most fun and well-rounded Live yet. Don't hesitate to pick it up and enjoy it.
