Originally intended for a pre-Christmas release, Microsoft's stunning looking online racer should be worth the wait.

Boasting a substantial offline game - featuring more than 200 cars, advanced, learning AI and extensive customisation options - and a slew of online ranking, car club and community features, this is shaping up to be a monster.

Online races for up to eight competitors will earn you cash which you can use to mod your motor, while a car club of up to 100 players is the perfect place to show it off.

Did we mention it's out on Xbox in February? Good
