Far Cry Instincts Xbox only

PS2 version canned for reasons known only to Ubisoft

French publisher Ubisoft has today announced that Far Cry Instincts will be exclusive to Xbox.

The console spin-off of the PC-only original was expected to make its way on to both Xbox and PS2, however today's news flatly confirms otherwise.

Problems in getting the game to run on the ill-equipped PS2 hardware is the most likely reason for the version being canned, however Ubisoft is currently unavailable for comment.

Far Cry Instincts is due for release on Xbox this September
