Lost Island

Level 13: The Great Pyramid

The Demon Room

Kill the demons, then go through this room, through the door on the right side then up the ladder. When you reach it, shoot the orange button. It’ll illuminate around the outside to show you how many shots are needed to trigger a grapple point. You need to act fast in the next sections.

All the grapple points here are on a timer – swing quickly to the ledge in the corner. On the next platform, shoot the orange button, kill the bats, shoot it again to restart the timer. Jump to the sloping stone, then back on the pole and over to the next. Rotate on the pole and jump to the handhold.

Jump to the next pole, use the grapple point, jump to the left and another grapple point. Make sure you land with a short-ish rope to jump to the handholds on the pillar. Make your way to exit by continuing to shoot the orange buttons and following the pillars and grappling points.

Level 14: Lava Room Puzzle

Get the Gold Blocks

In this room, pull the switch and go through the door that opens. Dive down to the switch in the water, jump up to the new platform and head into the tunnel. Push the block to the rock in the corner of the room. A fairly easy beginning to finding those lovely, shiny gold blocks.

Climb on the block to reach a platform with a switch. Pull it, then jump to a ledge on the wall. Move quickly along the three ledges – they’ll start to spit out fire. Jump to the corner ledge, then use the grapple point to reach the ledge and go through the gap.

Jump on the illuminated panel to pull it down, and shoot the orange button behind it to open one of the underwater gates. Do the same with the other two panels in the room to open the other gates, then dive into the water and swim through the tunnel.

Natla Boss

This boss fight is more of a test of stamina than skill – it lasts ages. Like the other bosses, get Natla’s rage meter to full by continually shooting at her with pistols or machine guns. Then when she charges, dodge and shoot at exactly the right point when the crosshairs turn red. If you hit her, she’ll freeze and that’s when to pummel her with bullets. The trick is making sure you’re far enough away so she doesn’t hit you, and that you don’t shoot too late so that she’ll have enough time to defend herself.
