Get anyone you want

Start a franchise and go to setup. Click edit roster and you can put any hitter/pitcher on a team. Also you can edit pitchers attributes but not batters

Win Important Games

To win big games fast, select the game in the schedule, select play game. Make sure before you start you have it on rookie. Play the first couple innings until you have a big lead. When you are confident they wont come back, select quit. (MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE "SIMULATE TO END" The stats will even out over the season and you'll be winning important games!

Hit Home Runs:

By pressing B instead of A to hit you will hit Home Runs almost all the time. You might get pop-ups here and there but it will work if you are down by a lot or want to be up by a lot.

Players are never tired

If you are in a franchise or season mode and you have a tired player and u need him to be fine and not tired for his health (like Griffey Jr. because he always gets injured) go to your season/franchise Menu page (If you are confused about where your franchise page is, look at the top black line and it should read (FRANCHISE MENU) and go to setup, then edit rosters. Now go to your team and highlight who you need to be fine and press A. A list comes up and go to edit player. If you don't want to change a thing just press start through the player editor screens. After that, your player will be as good as new. This is really useful if you have a player that gets injured very easily. This code DOES NOT work if the player is already injured though.

Stealing Bases

99% of the time, if your lead off hitter is fast enough he can steal. If the other team has a cannon of a catcher stay there. If you are a rookie, try not to lead off because it is difficult to get back on base not getting off. If a player is at third and the hitter hits the ball, wait until your opponent catches it. Then, steal from third base to home plate. If you have a person on second and third base, make the batter bunt (only if you have no or one outs) and go home and to third base so that the batter gets a sacrifice bunt RBI.
