Vertical Takedowns

The best way to land a vertical takedown is by either a ramp (drive through ramp and try to land on a car) or when a car is "rubbing" against you towards a edge (use your boost and steer to the direction the wall is on.

Boost Trick

When playing traffic attack or checking traffic in other events, if you have boost, hit it just before you nail the traffic. For about a half second, your car will be (almost) invulnerable to a loss of speed, thus rocketing thru the traffic (or opponent). Works great whenever attempting to take someone out also.

Infinite Boost

When you are racing stay on the wrong side of the road. When you're on the wrong side you can see that your boost will fill up. When you hit it you won't loose any boost because you will gain more than you lose.

Beat Burning Laps

The only way to beat the Burning Laps you must use the shortcuts. You don't have to use all of the shortcuts.

Boost start

When you start from a stopped position press the left and right triggers just before the countdown reaches go. If you do it right you will get boost to use right from the start!

Blue Light Special

When you're racing and you see blue lights those are shortcuts.

Shunt Payback

If a guy shunts you and he's still behind you, slam on the brakes then he will crash into the back of your car and go flying and you will get a boost.

Crash Junction Tips

Whenever doing ANY kind of crash juction, when doing a jump always aim at a bus. When you hit it you will explode and if the bus lands in the middle of a road, you will hit ALL of the traffic coming your way.
