Xbox Live holiday sale detailed. Cheap, great games await

"Xbox Live has put together a special sale just for you! Are you sure you don't need to go to the bathroom first?" That's probably what DJ Professor K from Jet Set Radio (pictured) would say to start this story. And he'd be right. This December's Xbox Live sale is rather special, seeing some particularly large discounts on even more particularly excellent games.

For starters, Jet Set Radio and Joe Danger 2: The Movie are each 400 MS Points. Everyone's surely got a version of Plants vs Zombies by now, but that's in the sale too at 600 MS Points, as is Super Meat Boy. And the 28th of December looks particularly interesting, as the entirety of the Walking Dead (our Game of the Year 2012) will be on sale. Sadly, prices haven't been fully disclosed at the time of writing, but more games will recieve discounts throughout the holiday season concluding with Oblivion and Skyrim offers on New Year's Eve. Here's the known list so far:

Wow, what perfect timing. The BL2 season pass goes on sale the same day as my Birthday. Couldn't ask for a better sale- except, maybe for if stuff was free. Thanks, Microsoft.

This isn't for Australia is it? On Xbox Australia it seems like Lego games are on sale on the 20th... Lego Star Wars is $70...some sale... :(

Was looking forward to buying The Walking Dead as well...

    What's Skyrim gonna cost? $19 or $29?
  • ObliqueZombie - December 19, 2012 11:20 a.m.

Oooo, gonna try to cash in on a lot of these titles.

There are a lot of good games here. I'm honestly impressed, MS. I'll defiantly have to pick up Fez and I was going to pick up the Borderlands 2 season pass over the holiday break, so now I'll just wait till the 27th. I might just try The Walking Dead as well, along with Joe Danger (I really liked the first one on PS3). There's some others on this list that I'd get too if I didn't own them already.

Wow. For the first time in a loooooooong while, I don't feel like Microsoft has me over a barrel with their prices. I've been waiting to get Fez, Jet Set Radio HD, Mark of the Ninja and Virtua Fighter 5 for a while and now I guess I have no choice. Here's hoping some of the TBA deals include Tony Hawk HD and Counter Strike!
  • TheMcFinder - December 19, 2012 8:25 a.m.

hell yeah! i knew that they would put fez on sale eventually!. eeeexcellent

Gonna end up dropping a good amount of points here, but worth it. Wanna nab Fez, Borderlands 2 Season Pass, and all the Walking Dead games. Looks like Steam isnt the only thing stealing my money with good sales anymore.
