Armed police raided a Manchester man's living room after they mistook his plastic Lara Croft mannequin for a gunman.

Computer shop owner David Williams, 42, had taken the dummy home to flog it on eBay (naughty, naughty!) but little did he know, his cheeky dealings would soon land him with a gun in his face.

Eidos are planning on reducing the price of the two Tomb Raider: Anniversary Downloadable Content Packs from 1200 Microsoft Points to 800 Microsoft Points each. The new price will come into effect as of Friday 30th May. A copy of Tomb Raider: Legend is needed in order for the Tomb Raider: Anniversary content to work, alternatively you can buy the full retail game available in all good retailers now.

Dec 3, 2007 It could well turn out that Tomb Raider Underworld is the name Eidos will slap on Lara Croft's next adventure. Reports indicate that the publisher has filed for trademark of the phrase 'Tomb Raider Underworld' with the Patent and Trademark Office. 'Underworld' has led to speculation that the new Tomb Raider game may find Croft mixing it up with seedy criminal elements, but it could of course just be a reference to the core of the sequel involving underground antics. Eidos has whipped the downloadable version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary onto Xbox Live. It lets those of you with a copy of Legend download the game in two packs containing two episodes. Each are around 1.5GB and will cost 1200 Points (GBP 10.20 / EUR 13.96).

This week, Eidos is releasing to retail the Xbox 360 version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary. And while it typically doesn't take much for the buxom heroine to turn heads of her own accord, Eidos is capitalizing on the increased attention anyway by announcing that Wii gamers will have a chance to go hands on with Lara Croft in Tomb Raider: Anniversary on November 13.

Oct 18, 2007 The Xbox 360 version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary will hit US retail on Oct 23, UK retail on Oct 26 and be available as a download via Xbox Live in November. Anniversary, which has already been well received on other platforms, is based around the original Tomb Raider game but features the new engine - obviously - and control scheme debuting in TR: Legend.
