TNA Impact is little more than a poor Smackdown wannabe. The dodgy controls, bland graphics, and lack of any kind of variety make this a dull affair for even the most diehard of pro wrestling fans. Give it a miss.

I purchased this game pre-owned for the Nintendo Wii. The game is pretty bad. I hate to say it, but I would get more enjoyment blowing the dust off my N64 and popping in WWF No Mercy. As much as I would love another wrestling game outside of the Smackdown franchise to be at least decent... at the moment there is no rival.

You’d be forgiven for taking one look at TNA Impact and thinking, “It’s wrestling. How different could it be from any other wrestling game?” After all, it is wrestling, and it is very similar in many ways to other grappling games - specifically THQ’s long-running WWE franchises. Lets face it, the WWE is essentially the evil empire of wrestling. Mr. McMahon and his genetic superfreaks will always stand atop the heap of sports entertainment destroying all comers like they did WCW and ECW.
