by parent company Namco
Bandai. But Tales fans can take comfort in the fact that upcoming titles
in the series haven't been cancelled – however, with the 25-year-old
studio absorbed by Namco Bandai, the future of the series is for now
in-house...
Gema: Namco Europe Junior Community Manager Charlotte Toci has retracted her statement from April, where she claimed a Microsoft exclusivity contract was preventing Tales of Vesperia from seeing a PlayStation 3 release in the west. Her statement, issued on Facebook, apologies for wrongly sharing a false information to fans.
A Namco Bandai Europe community representative has stated that the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia will never make it West because Microsoft paid for the exclusivity. The Junior Community manager revealed the status of Vesperia's PS3 port release in a reply to a fan on Facebook.

Since its European launch on Xbox 360 in summer 2009, Tales of Vesperia has garnered widespread critical and fan acclaim.
