After diehard fans have had their hearts toyed with for over a decade, the news of Duke Nukem Forever finally being released has created just as much skepticism as it has rejoicing. As for myself, this news has renewed my hope in cancelled video games. If Duke can do it, then maybe any game can crawl back from the brink of death and still see the light of release day. Here are five games that many gamers have been teased with for what seems like an eternity.

Blizzard has announced that BlizzCon tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, June 2 and Saturday, June 5, 2010. The event will once again be covered by DirectTV on pay per view and viewers will be able to switch between panels and activities during the show via a multi-channel Internet stream, a new feature for the coverage this year.

Neocrisis: The Blizzard Music CD is called Echoes of War: The Music of Blizzard. The Legendary Edition has already been released and the normal edition will come out in a week and a half. will feature music from Warcraft III, World of Warcraft and its upcoming Wrath of the Lich King expansion, StarCraft and II, Diablo II and III, and even StarCraft: Ghost.

WoW IncGamers got a sniff from Blizzard that they are going to hold another World Wide Invitational (like a mini-BlizzCon for the gamers and the games industry) in late June this year. Considering that StarCraft II was release during the WWI 2007 in Korea, one wonders what this one in France will give. Is there some game French games like in particular, or is it just convenient to have it near the World of WarCraft centre? Make sure to check all news sites in June!

Starcraft: Ghost recently reached its 5th Anniversary since its official announcement at the Tokyo Game Show 2002. It was indefinitely postponed on 2005 due to the arrival of PS3 and Xbox 360, making the game not viable. With resources of personnel focused on World of Warcraft and Starcraft 2, Starcraft: Ghost was left behind in the backburner. However, recent interviews with Rob Pardo and Mike Morhaime seem to indicate the rebirth of Starcraft: Ghost is imminent. A matter of when. Blizzard President commented there are no plans to return to console production.
