New screens of Xbox 360 driving sim Ridge Racer 6 have revealed that it won't be just cars that gamers can hammer around the next-gen tracks in, but futuristic hovercrafts as well.
Rather than limiting the action to the usual four-wheeled automobile challenge, developer Namco has included several concept vehicles such as a tripod super car, a fat-tyred drag racer and suped-up hovercrafts.

A host of new shots from Namco's Ridge Racer 6 for Xbox 360 have power-slided their way into our possession and are parked ready for your perusal over on the right.
This latest drive out for the popular franchise provides over 130 vehicles, 30 circuits and a selection of modes, including the all-new World Explorer mode, which itself offers over 230 races.

Namco's Ridge Racer 6 has been confirmed for Xbox 360, as part of a Microsoft summit, taking place in Japan right now.
At the moment info is limited to the rather delicious set of shots on the right, however Namco has also unleashed some new screens of Frame City Killer, the Unreal powered urban adventure, which should be launched in Japan at the same time as the next-gen Xbox.
A number of other Japanese developers have also used the Xbox 360 summit to reveal their next-gen titles.
