Zenimax Media has apparently pulled all Prey 2-related talks and presentations from next month's Game Developers' Conference in San Francisco.
We liked Prey — we don't remember it anymore, but we’re sure liked it. Prey 2 is starting to look like something we could love. We're not saying we're going to rush into anything, but as of seeing these sizzling new screens, maybe we'd ask for its number. If that works, we might take it out to a nice dinner — nothing too fancy, but definitely somewhere we could sit and talk. If we get along and we're in a good place in our lives... who knows? Maybe it could be love...
We got a couple of bonus images for Dishonored from Quakecon earlier, now weve received a small payload of new Prey 2 screenshots. They show lots more of Prey 2s glowing neon city, and some more strange, strange alien creatures. Youll be able to hunt them all down and pound them in the gills when Prey 2 comes out in March next year. Find out more in our Prey 2 preview. Youll find the screens below. StickSkills.com writes, Quick-time events are always an interesting discussion for video game fans. Some gamers love them and how they're implemented, while a rather large portion seems to hate their very existence. With that being said, what would you think about quick-time events being involved in Prey 2?
Okay, so Prey 2 is looking like a sequel to Prey in name only. But you know what? I really don't care any more. The previous game's portal-diving, gravity-switching gameplay has gone, replaced by free-running FPSery in a Blade Runner-style alien city, but having seen what you're about to see, I reckon it's time to replace those tears of loss with grins of oh-my-god-look-at-all-that-exciting-new-stuff. This new trailer might be a live-action/CG hybrid containing no gameplay whatsoever, but if the tone of the finished game is anything like this, count me all the way in.
Especially if it has a Johnny Cash soundtrack, as this trailer so ernestly promises it will have.*
People from Bethesda have released via their website a huge collection of the latest news for Brink that are floating around the web together with an interview with Todd Howard about Skyrim made by Gameswelt. Together with this, they have also released a video that shows a community tournament recap that was held at Splash Damage's office during last week
