So guys, LEGO, right? We're culturally obsessed with the snappy yellow blocks and their licensed kits and games, and they're somehow adorable enough to quell any cynicism over their ubiquity. We even type their moniker in the trademark-required all caps without thinking twice. And here they are again, being all adorable and stuff in Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars...

While we couldn’t get enough of the original LEGO Star Wars games, subsequent spin-offs: LEGO Batman, LEGO Indiana Jones, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Rock Band, LEGO Dancing with the Stars (okay, we made up that last one… we hope) have worn the concept thinner and thinner. They’re not bad games, mind you – but they’ve done little to evolve the series beyond its original, money-making formula. Thankfully, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars looks to be landing just in time to save the brick-busting series from the Dark Side...

The phrase 'platform exclusive' should be read as 'will probably come out on the other machine with extra content in the near future, maybe' and Limbo is one such case. The much lauded platform/puzzler has made the leap from Xbox 360 to PS3 with erm, one tiny piece of additional content. But regardless of the insignificant slither of new stuff, Limbo is still a must play in it's original state. Check out Dave's feature/review for further proof of why it's ace.
Before this week, I'd never heard of Limbo. Now, after seeing and playing the game, I can't stop thinking about it. Xbox Live is home to dozens of puzzle games with quirky titles and quirkier concepts. Few, however, are truly all that original or innovative once you dig beneath their seemingly bizarre surfaces. Limbo is different. Limbo is special. Limbo is a title worth remembering, whether you like puzzle games, adventure games, atmospheric art games or even violent action games. Here are five reasons why.
-The first songs which have been announced are: Mercy by Duffy, Young Folks by Peter Bjorn and Son, and Bust a Move by Young MC.
-The game will come with two Wireless mics, one white and one black. The mics contain motion sensors and LEDs that light up in time with the music and other events. The motion sensing capability can be used to play instruments while singing (such as a tambourine), as well as to enter the game as a second

The Lord of the Rings seems tailor made to the real-time strategy genre. The franchise is brimming with diverse races, distinct settings and detailed weaponry that beg to be brought to life and put at a player's command. The Battle for Middle-earth series offers just this kind of magical experience and now console owners will get their first taste of it when the second installment hits Xbox 360 next week. We've been covering the addictive multiplayer extensively - see here and here - but how's
