The Divinity series, like its classmate at High Fantasy High School, Gothic, is a big deal in mainland Europe. Until now, neither RPG has made much of a dent in either the UK or US. With its impressive translation, convincing animation, inventive quests, and combat and reward systems reminiscent of Diablo, Divinity II has the best shot yet.
Cast in the role of a Dragon Slayer, your role is, oddly enough, to slay dragons.
The problem with Guitar Hero and Rock Band is that the games are slaves to the music. Neversoft, Harmonix and anybody else who develops a band-centric game is at the mercy of their soundtracks – and all the licensing woes these give rise to. At first glance, Don King Presents: Prizefighter seems like it’ll be doomed to play second fiddle to the current champion of boxing games, Fight Night. But Prizefighter may offer boxing fans what they never got from Fight Night: Round 3, a level of realism that transcends the beads of sweat that fly from your next-gen boxer’s head.
According to Don King, “[Prizefighter] is more than a game - it is a glimpse at what
Despite only being eight years old, Doom 3's decidedly brutal and unforgiving approach may well lead some newer gamers class it as a bit creaky these
