Pac-Man - Xbox Live Arcade

It turns out Google really isn't evil after all. The proof? This tech support guy in the company's employ, who we hear is currently in discussions with the Vatican regarding his upcoming sainthood.

It's not that the old lady calling him is an angry old hag. In fact, she's really rather sweet. And having had to deal with the public at work before - hell, having to do it every day when I leave the house - I know they can be a total nightmare if they want to be. But given her line of questioning (essentially 'How do I stop Pac-man breaking Google and stopping me from working?') and how clear it is that she possibly thinks shutting down a program means switching the monitor off, he does very well indeed.

Actually, what am I saying? Presumably someone from tech support uploaded this conversation to Youtube without the old lady's consent, for us all to laugh at. And we are. EVIL!

What better way to celebrate Halloweek than with a Photoshop frenzy of brains and bile as we zombify some of gaming's best loved characters. Be warned, however, some of these images are a tad graphic, full of weeping sores, rotting flesh and exposed rib cages, so don't go getting disturbed for life over these. Promise? Good.

We're used to being the good guys. But did you ever stop to think about it from the enemy's point of view? Wouldn't our heroes look completely different?

Of course, just as in the real world, wartime imagery and alternative views of the enemy could undoubtedly be perpetuated with some propaganda posters… like these.

It was released way back at the start of the 80s. So surely anything worth saying about Pac-Man has been said already? Actually, we don't think so. You may have heard how Pac-Man is gaming's premiere pop culture icon and how he single-handedly pushed electronic entertainment into the big time. But what you haven't heard until now is why Pac-Man is the original Resident Evil. Or why Pac-Man is more like Grand Theft Auto than you could ever

Pac-Man's got to be right up there with Mario as one of the most recognisable videogame characters of all time. And because his basic design is simple, you can see him everywhere. Whenever you take a slice of pizza or cut a segment from a cake, he's there. Then the noise starts to go in your head: waka waka waka waka waka
