A patch will be coming to fix some online disconnect issues in the near future. They are also looking into losses tracking incorrectly in dynasty mode.

RBK has dropped the ball on releasing the jersey code for both the NHL and the AHL in NHL 08, which allows the new RBK jerseys to be unlocked. The code was obviously a premature release since some teams in both leagues have not announced their new jersey designs. Soon after the realease of the code on the RBK website it was taken down. Today Electronic Arts announced a demo for NHL 08, the latest iteration of its hockey franchise, is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

A reviewer from finish magazine has confirmed in his latest review that, NHL 08 will run at 30fps on PS3 and whiles, the Xbox 360 version will run in 60 fps. He further states that, the PS3 version's frame rate feel more like NHL 07 on the Xbox 360.

Microsoft-owned in-game ad firm Massive Inc. has inked a deal with Electronic Arts that will bring dynamic ads to five high-profile titles. Madden NFL 08 (Xbox 360, PC), NASCAR 08 (Xbox 360), NHL 08 (Xbox 360), Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 (Xbox 360, PC) and Skate (Xbox 360) will all go live in the Massive Network this year. Microsoft Corp. said on Wednesday it will pipe advertisements into a slate of popular sports video games from Electronic Arts Inc. including its best-selling Madden football franchise. The deal, which also covers EA's NASCAR, Tiger Woods golf, NHL hockey and upcoming Skate skateboarding games, is a significant win for Microsoft as it tries to build an early lead over rivals such as Google Inc. in putting ads into video games. The deal is also the latest indication of increasingly cozy ties between Microsoft, the world's biggest software company and EA, the No. 1 independent video game publisher.
