Alone in the Dark, Ataris new addition to the fright-fest series, has been on our radar for what seems like forever. However, apart from the fact that its set in Central Park, we still know very little about the gameplay, monsters or anything else for that matter.
So it was with high hopes that we hastily clicked play on the latest trailer, which you can see below, and waited for some plot-revealing action. A minute later, the trailer's over and now we know...nothing new.

If we were betting men we would've put a fair penny on Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed slipping into 2008, but as it turns out we would've lost our cash because the French publishing giant sends word that it's all wrapped up, and "gone gold."
Assassin's Creed will be out on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 13 - that's just over two weeks

Pick up tomorrow's new issue of PSM3, and you'll be able to read the world's first magazine review of Army of Two, Electronic Arts' co-op focused shooter. But thanks to the game being recently delayed, you won't actually be able to buy it until some unconfirmed date next year. So what's the deal?
Well, if you head on over to PSM3's official blog, they take the effort to talk us through the problems. The answer's not so simple. For instance, developers are having problems with PS3

Montferrat - in the Piedmont region of Italy - produces some of the world's finest wine, and contains the 16th century Sacro Monte di Crea, a UNESCO World Heritage site. But forget all that nonsense: in Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed, Montferrat is just an ugly dude with half a bowl cut and a goofy accent who gets got real good by antihero Altier. In this new two-part video, follow Altier as he identifies his mark, leaps from roof to roof like a really angry Aladdin, sticks

The latest video interview with Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond has brought some devastating news for anyone hoping to get their hands on a demo of the medieval sneak-'em-up.
With the game about one month away from release, there'll be no playable demo beaming its way through the pipes of PSN or Marketplace.
Raymond explained that as Assassin's Creed is a sandbox game, it's too difficult to pick a portion to give away and let players experience it.
She also points out

Along with a whale's buttload of gorgeous new screens for Ace Combat 6, Namco Bandai has released some tidbits of info on new tactics available for couch-mounted wannabe pilots. From the press release:
Read-Ahead Fire: Normal missile fire is done by locking on to nearby enemies and launching missiles that pursue their target. While this approach of air-to-air combat is suitable for eliminating most enemies, it requires the player to spend valuable time getting closer to their

EAs military shooter Army of Two, soon to be blasting its way onto PS3 and 360, adds a refreshing twist on the standard single player shooter by introducing co-op play throughout the entire game.
The latest trailer explains the aggro system, which shows how enemies will react to each player depending on their position and ultimately, who has the bigger gun. The more heat you attract from the enemy the higher your aggro meter will be, allowing your partner to flank the enemy

Beowulf: The Film will be out in November, and will be sharing a publicity budget with a Game of the same name. The film is produced by Robert Zemeckis (this isnt the last Zemeckis reference in this weeks Trailer Trash - youve been warned), and features an all star cast including Angelina Jolie, John Malkovitch, Anthony Hopkins, Crispin Glover, and others. This trailer for the game, however, stars a sword falling into a puddle over and over while some repetitive-looking

Here's a neat little Assassin's Creed trailer, giving an insight into the near-invisible skills of the game's lead killer, Alatair. Showing a group of shadowy crusaders debating around a table, the climax is a surprisingly subtle one.
Ubisoft has been touting Assassin's Creed about recently, and we were fortunate enough to get our own hands bloody in some combat action. While we can't dish all the info yet, when we're given the go ahead we'll fill your eyes with first-hand
