IO Interactive, the developer behind the Hitman series, will be working on a completely new game for its next project - an Xbox 360 and PC action game called Kane & Lynch: Dead Men.
The game will feature co-op, squad tactics and online options according to US magazine Game Informer. Kane and Lynch are a mercenary and a 'psycho' who come into a large amount of money - they could change their ways and live happily ever after, but that wouldn't make the greatest game.

Forget Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Daxter, there's a new double act on its way thanks to Hitman developer IO Interactive, who is bringing Kane & Lynch: Dead Men to Xbox 360 and PC next year.
The game is a story driven, gritty shooter which pairs a flawed mercenary with a medicated psychopath who come into possession of a small fortune and seemingly have to fight tooth and nail to keep it.

Kane & Lynch, the new PC and Xbox 360 project from Hitman developer, Io Interactive, will feature a brand new, never before seen multiplayer mode.
After taking us through two of the game's single-player levels, Io game director, Jens Peter Kurup, revealed that the multiplayer experience will be completely new to gamers.

Eidos sends word that four new multiplayer maps are on the way for Kane & Lynch's multiplayer mode, Fragile Alliance. They're all absolutely free.
In case you've never played it before, the multiplayer mode has you playing as criminals in a heist. You're encouraged to work as a team until the very end, when back-stabbing your teammates at the right moment can help you get away with all the loot. It also gives your victim a chance
From April 17 - that's this Thursday - you'll be able to download the 'Dope Bag' multiplayer map pack for Kane & Lynch from PSN and XBL Marketplace, and we've got footage of it in action.
The 'Dope Bag' pack includes four maps each with a new back-stabby heist scenario.
