  • Xbox Live Arcade games will be released in a series of collections for retail using the title Xbox Live Unplugged, it seems. After Xbox chief Peter Moore's announcement last week, box art for the first volume has appeared on a US distributor's website and shows that the title will include a version of Geometry Wars and a one month's subscription to Xbox Live Gold.   • Tuesday 27 June 2006 Epic fantasy action game Ninety-Nine Nights - due over here in September - will need the 360 hard drive to run the game, according Microsoft's own game information. The forthcoming hack 'n' slash combat game requires the hard drive, presumably to cope with masses of on-screen activity and the frantic battlefield action that is featured.   • Tuesday 27 June 2006 Microsoft has confirmed that it has no plans to drop the price of Xbox 360 this autumn, despite the imminent arrival of Sony's PlayStation 3.
