It's turning into a bit of a soap opera in the Singapore gaming scene; Mass Effect, previously banned in the country for its dirty lesbian sex scene, has now had its ban reversed and will go on sale as planned.
Like God of War II and The Darkness before it, Mass Effect was originally refused release by Singapore's Media Development Authority because it contains "a scene of lesbian intimacy... as such the game has been disallowed," a statement read.

Five new Mass Effect videos have made their way to our computers and we couldnt be happier to see them. With the release date right around the corner, weve still got tons more questions than answers thanks to these three gameplay videos and two TV spots. For one, whats the deal with the class systems (and why do they dress alike), and for another, whats causing all the exploding death? And what gives with the lesbian love scene?

It seems Mass Effect's dirty lesbian love scene has earned it a ban in Singapore, according to blog GameAxis.
The blog claims official sources have confirmed BioWare's ban in the region, and we're inclined to believe them after BioShock and virtually every GTA game ever was banned in Singapore previously.

The full list of achievement points for BioWare's epic RPG Mass Effect are finally in - but boy, is it a slavedriver! And then there's the difficulty challenges. Finish the game again on Hardcore and you get another 25. Finish it on Insanity difficulty

With Halo 3 finally out of the way, Microsoft's mammoth PR machine can finally focus on its next big gun Mass Effect, starting with this new character bio.
Nihlus Kryik, one of the Citadel Council's most decorated Spectre agents, reads Microsoft's blurb, has unquestionable skills but is a bit of a hot head. A confidant of Saren, the main villain in Mass Effect, Nihlus has apparently learned a trick or two from the old master.
"Eventually, he stepped out of his mentor's shadow and
