
After weeks of arguing, and defending artistic integrity, the Medal of Honor developers finally decided to take the word “Taliban” out of the multi-player portion of the game, replacing it with “opposing force”.
But despite the change, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service still plans to prohibit the sale of the title in military stores…

Executive Producer Greg Goodrich revealed today that EA's Danger Close studio is currently working on the next Medal of Honor game. The 2010 franchise reboot received mixed critical and consumer reactions, but was a commercial success with over five million copies sold worldwide...

Fox News has run an extended feature on EA's decision to allow gamers to play as the Taliban in the multiplayer mode of Medal Of Honor. The network's Fox & Friends presenter described the game as "allowing players to play as The Taliban against the US, with the objective of gunning down American troops."
He then passed over to Karen Meredith, a Gold Star Mom whose son died in the Iraq War. She commented: "War is not a game, period. The fact that they've already done games about World War II... that's far removed from our current history, people aren't dying in World War 2 anymore.”…

EA has announced that Linkin Park song 'The Catalyst' will feature on Medal of Honor's in-game soundtrack. Not only that, but the song - which will be the first single from the band's new album - will also be used for a new Medal of Honor trailer. Listen with your ears and decide whether you think this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Players who buy Medal of Honor Limited Edition will receive a bit of help in multiplayer matches with exclusive access to the MP7 submachine gun and early access to shotguns. The announcement follows the release of a new multiplayer trailer that shows off a bit of gun porn...
