We've all got questions after the short, but sweet Resident Evil 5 E3 trailer (such as “when the hell is it coming out?”); and thankfully Capcom has decided to field a few of them via its Resident Evil 5 internet forums.
Producer Jun Takeuchi (who also worked on Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, and on Lost Planet) is the man nudged into the hot seat, and he'll answer as many questions as Capcom can translate for your viewing pleasure on July 30.
Forgive us for being cynical, but
It wasn't exactly a surprise - we'd already heard that one of the highlights of the Microsoft press conference was going to be a brand new minute long trailer of Resident Evil 5. And about an hour and a half in (well, it felt like that anyway) Peter Moore proved our suspicions true.
As a prelude to our full video coverage of the event, we've plucked the off-screen footage from our camera and, umm, stayed up late to post it for you.
First observation: It looks like it's set in Haiti, as
Is Rock Band coming to the Xbox 360 first? Rumors about a period of limited exclusively in place for Christmas fly, as the E3 rumor mill starts spinning.
This little rumor was sparked by the appearance of an invite to this year's E3 Harmonix event on Wednesday, which appears to be missing a PS3 logo, while prominently displaying an Xbox 360 one in full and glorious Technicolor.
Wired magazine's Chris Kohler has jumped on the speculation bandwagon, fueling his theory that the big MS may have
Rock Band is the rhythm-action experience that we all fantasized about, while crashed out backstage (well, on the couch) after a session with the legendary Guitar Hero. Uniting up to four players in separate band roles - online or within the same room - it's your chance to take your amateur swagger and daft rock salutes to the next level.
One player takes guitar, one takes bass, another yammers out the vocals while the drummer completes the goofy group. If one of your members stumbles and
Runescape developer Jagex has revealed a console version of its browser-based fantasy MMO is something it keeps considering, with the arrival of Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 making such more tempting than ever before.
"It's certainly more interesting with the current generation of consoles of course because they're far more internet-connected than the previous generation and it just wasn't worth looking at," the game's creator Andrew Gower told us recently.
"But with the PS3 and Xbox 360 and the
Rock Band, the stunning new rhythm action game from Guitar Hero creator Harmonix, will give you the chance to polish off a track with your own twiddly guitar lick or skin-beating drum solo. All the note bars will fill with color, and you can bash out anything you like.
Songstrels won't be left out of the noodling madness, though. As a Rock Band singer, you'll be able to "call out the crowd" by ad-libbing or shouting to the audience to bring your fans to their feet. While drummers will also get
Developer Liquid Development is working away on Rise of the Argonauts, a new action-RPG set in the mythical era of Jason and the Argonauts, coming to Windows and "major console platforms" next year.

Vivendi has announced that the first offering to take advantage of its deal to create games based on author Robert Ludlum's books will be The Bourne Conspiracy, which - as the name suggests - is based in the espionage-focused world that movie-goers saw in The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy. But while the game will feature "seminal moments" from the Identity movie, it doesn't look like Matt Damon will play a starring role as protagonist Jason Bourne.
As you can see from the image
Initial details and screenshots have emerged on Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy, a PS3 and Xbox 360 third-person espionage-action game from Sierra Entertainment that's due to release in summer 2008.
Sierra explains the title "combines seminal moments from the best-selling novel and hit film The Bourne Identity with all-new content developed in conjunction with Ludlum Entertainment" and gives players "the experience of becoming a 30 million dollar elite agent, fusing an experience that
It looks like Billy Coen, escaped convict and co-star of GameCube's Resident Evil 0, is set to return for another Evil outing, this time in the next-gen Resident Evil 5.
Eagle-eyed fact hunters from our very own website have spotted a spectacular gaffe by Steve Van Wormer, the voice actor who plays Billy. "Steve voices the role of Billy Coen" reads a block of text on Steve's official website, beneath the header "Resident Evil 5."
