Driver: San Francisco is out today in the UK, allowing gamers across the nation to leap into the bodies of random road-users across a gorgeous, sun-drenched San Francisco. Not that you'd know that from the actual launch trailer, which makes precisely 0.1 references to it during its 80 seconds. As in, it looks like Tanner has a headache. Well, come watch the trailer, then let me tell you why you should be giving this game a chance.

Here's two new character teasers for Street Fighter x Tekken, which continues to test your knowledge of the two rival franchises butting heads in the upcoming crossover. If you're unsure of who's being teased here, just scroll down to the comments section – right after the game's newly-revealed box-art – where you'll no doubt find the answers revealed by people who'll probably be beating you at the game come March next year...

The house that built L.A. Noire may soon be shuttered for good, as the Sydney developer Team Bondi has officially entered administration. Filed with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission yesterday, the drastic action has left the studio with the unenviable task of attracting a (very) last minute buyer, or else be picked apart to death in order to pay its creditors...

Above: Bend over for some rugby. It’s the next big thing from the folks who brought you Street Fighter IV fightsticks

You may not have heard of Home Entertainment Suppliers. It’s the exclusive distributor for Mad Catz, a company best known for its line of hardware peripherals. Now, HES is trying its hand at games publishing of the sporting variety with Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge, a new entry to the short list of rugby games available on the PC and consoles…

When Hans Lemurson completed his first working in-game computer for Minecraft, he was bothered by a comment that kept coming up on forums. People would write, “Hey, that's a pretty nice computer there, but can it run Minecraft?” Lemurson's newest creation proves that yes, it can play Minecraft - or at least it can run a rough 2D approximation of Minecraft. Take a look for yourself…

It's not hard to name the clip most people will remember as the standout trailer of the year. Dead Island's debut trailer was emotional, artful, and awesome. With the game’s September 6 launch date fast approaching, Techland isn’t shy about the pre-release hype the zombie title has enjoyed…

It's a given Deus Ex: Human Revolution will get a dose of DLC sometime in the future, but deciphering exactly what Square Enix has in store for the expansion is turning into something of an all-consuming game in and of itself…

Beautifully chorographed, bleak CGI of Marcus and co. getting their arses kicked in a long, drawn-out way? Check. Maudlin, slightly incongruous contemporary soundtrack with a modicum of arty, indie-cred to emphasise how poetic and sad the oh so poetic and sad game really is, underneath all the curb-stomping and chainsaw dismemberment? Check. Ominous cut to black at the dramatic climax? Check also. Yep, this is a Gears of War trailer alright. It has passed all mandatory checks, and is now ready for your consumption. So consume.

But while none of the above elements might be surprising, what certainly is surprising - unless I'm very much mistaken - is what looks to be the appearance of long-since-offed Gears 1 bad guy General Raam leading the Locust charge at the beginning. Take a look, and we will discuss what this may mean over the jump.

We're quite big fans of FPS Russia's YouTube channel here at Radar. If you're not familiar with it, the conceit is that a delightfully crazy man identifying himself as Professional Russian (who may or may not actually be Russian) gets his hands on a ludicrous number of ludicrous, real-life guns and tests them out for his and your amusement. It's must-see viewing for anyone who's ever enjoyed an FPS, and as an extra-specially-exciting bonus, his latest video is a themed special based around the enemies and weapons of id Software's rather bloody stunning looking Rage.

One full-size Rage mutant, one full-size rapid-fire, mag-loading shotgun, one full-size assault rifle, one full-size EXPLODING-GODDAMN-CROSSBOW. That's what you get here, and hilarity, it doth inevitably ensue.

With less than a month until the late-September release of X-Men: Destiny, Silicon Knights' mutant action-RPG, you've probably seen all the teasers and promo stills you can muster interest for. This behind-the-scenes look at the title takes a gander at the motion-capture and voice-acting work required to craft a game which allows you, in the words of head Knight Dennis Dyack, “to interact in very deep and meaningful ways within the universe.” Well, that's what we all want out of life, after all...
