Following Sony's announcements of the April Foolishness Sale and PSP Favourites promotion earlier this week, Microsoft has today revealed a cost-cutting activity of their own. Q Entertainment is about to start a series of two downloadable content packs. Revenue from these DLC packs will go to non-government climate control groups and other charities contributing to good causes. The two packs include the Tokyo Club Mix Pack aka SOS Charity Campaign Pack which includes new music and skins for 350 Microsoft Points. The other pack is a larger booster pack that will cost 600 Microsoft Points and will include twenty more skins for challenge mode.

Good things come in threes, and next week's Arcade Wednesday release is no exception to that rule. Three new packages of Lumines Live! content will be available for download on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 beginning Wednesday, 24th January at 09.00 GMT. Two of the add-on packs will be available at special promotional prices, and one of them will be free to Xbox Box Live Gold Members for a limited time!
Just a quicky... The Xbox Live scheduled maintenance is now complete, and the whole Live service is back online. Apprently there's some more work to do on Xbox.com and the forums but aside from that everything else should be just peachy. So with the service back up there's no reason not to check out Lumines Live! now is there?
