Microsoft didn't release Halo Wars for the PC, but the closest thing to it could be a mod called HaloRTS created with the C&C 3: Tiberium Wars engine. The team have released a few screenshots that show some of the UNSC Forces that will be available in the mod. You can see these new shots below:

343 Industries boss Frankie OConnor has said that Ensemble RTS Halo Wars was a huge success, but insists work on a sequel has not begun.
A Halo Wars sequel could work on 360 motion cam Kinect, Microsoft's internal Halo studio 343 Industries has said. Speaking to CVG this month, 343's creative director Frank O'Connor called the original consoles RTS a huge success in its own regard and didn't rule out chances of making a sequel in the future. However, the studio isn't working on a follow-up to the strategy game right now, he said.

Ever since 343 Industries was formed to handle all future Halo projects, Microsoft's off-shoot studio has been relatively secretive as to what it's planning for the franchise. Now, after umpteen job postings and sketchy internet speculations, franchise development director Frank O'Connor has told The Official Xbox Magazine in the UK that no major Halo release is slated for 2011, and the studio isn't looking to develop another Halo spin-off anytime soon...
As per the announcement last month, a new Title Update has today become available for Halo Wars. As the official Halo Wars website is due to close today, the new Title Update will bridge the gap between game and site.
Despite the launch of an all-new Title Update today, as was announced last month, Halo Wars has retained the stat-tracking element that it was previously announced would be abolished in this update. Available as an automatic download now, the Title Update refines the connection to the refreshed official website as well as fixing some elements of the Theater Mode.
Microsoft will not be disabling the online statistics for Halo Wars after all. A spokesperson reached out to IGN this afternoon to confirm support for the game will continue past the original Dec. 15 deadline.
