The original Lost Planet has sold somewhere in the range of two million copies, so a sequel certainly comes as no surprise. What did surprise us, however, was the way in which the game was announced. Instead of holding a conference or even using its own blog, Capcom revealed the game on Xbox Live Marketplace and then went dark.
On October 14, 2008 Far Cry 2 went gold - meaning the game was fully completed and sent to printers. One week later on October 21, 2008 Far Cry 2 was released in North America by Ubisoft. The Assassin's Creed 2 teaser site has gone live. You can see it here. But what does it all mean? Is there any kind of information to be gleaned from it? You bet! Here's everything worked out so far
Writing about video games isn't always as easy as it looks. And sod everyone who says it's about the journey, not the destination. The following games all take you on a
Max Payne releases on DVD and Blu-Ray in the UK on Monday 13 April. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne and the incredibly hot Mila Kunis as Mona Sax. It's a stylish adaptation of the cult game series and you can catch a clip from the movie further down this page. Watch it carefully and you could win yourself a copy of the Max Payne movie on Blu-Ray along with a PlayStation 3 and 32" TV to watch it on.
