  • The original Lost Planet has sold somewhere in the range of two million copies, so a sequel certainly comes as no surprise. What did surprise us, however, was the way in which the game was announced. Instead of holding a conference or even using its own blog, Capcom revealed the game on Xbox Live Marketplace and then went dark.

  • On October 14, 2008 Far Cry 2 went gold - meaning the game was fully completed and sent to printers. One week later on October 21, 2008 Far Cry 2 was released in North America by Ubisoft. With an average Metacritic score of 85 - across the 360, PS3 and PC platforms - Far Cry 2 has received praise for emergent gameplay in an open world African setting.

  • The Assassin's Creed 2 teaser site has gone live. You can see it here. But what does it all mean? Is there any kind of information to be gleaned from it? You bet! Here's everything worked out so far

  • Writing about video games isn't always as easy as it looks. Sometimes you get distracted, sometimes you want to just play the damned things, and sometimes... well, sometimes you walk into the demo of a German game being given to a bunch of German press folks by a German developer speaking entirely in German. Watch it carefully and you could win yourself a copy of the Max Payne movie on Blu-Ray along with a PlayStation 3 and 32" TV to watch it on.
