Double Dragon - Xbox Live Arcade

A modern remake of the classic Double Dragon II: The Revenge has been announced for XBLA. Titled Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons, it’s based on the game's original 1988 arcade incarnation, not the tweaked NES version. Placed in a mini-arcade cabinet at SDCC, Abobos Big Adventure takes the behemoth best known for his appearance in the arcade classic Double Dragon, who is out to find his daughter and must conquer a series of challenges featuring NES characters (such as Shy Guys) set against a backdrop of classic titles (such as The Legend of Zelda).

Due to the collapse of Empire Interactive, Speedball 2 and Double Dragon have been removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace. Dont worry if you have previously purchased the games but deleted them from your hard drive as they can be redownloaded using your download history, but are not otherwise available.

Classic 2D scrolling beat-'em-up Double Dragon is on its way to Xbox 360's Live Arcade, it has been confirmed.
