So seriously? I think I understand the save option, but what do you do if you need to quit the game but want your settings to be saved - and instead you end up starting over but keep your points??? Am I missing a trick here???

This game could have been better in Infinite mode, when i first discovered it, Me and my friends was like oh my F**king god, this SUCKS! I am really disappointed at that. So I hope it is better in Dead Rising 2.

We grab a fistful of two-by-fours and go to town on a pile of zombies
Jul 10, 2006
Monday 10 July 2006 By now, we're all familiar with the premise of games like Dead Rising - any game featuring zombies is going to focus primarily on dropping the creeps in a desperate bid for survival. After just a couple of minutes with Dead Rising, however, it becomes clear that there is a lot more to it than just beating the not-living crap out of the walking dead (although there's still tons of that). The game opens with our hero Frank helicoptering into the sleepy, backwoods town of » Read Full Dead Rising preview

We claw our way out from under a zombie dog-pile
Apr 14, 2006
The zombie apocalypse is coming and we all know it. Thankfully, 360 owners can look forward to a handy survival guide in the form of third-person undead-basher Dead Rising. As you waltz through a mall overrun by shuffling undead, everyday items that would ordinarily go unnoticed become ideal zombie-whompers. You control Frank, a no nonsense photojournalist who is as meaty as he is irritable. Frank, like most people we know, is kind of a rookie at zombie killin', but he gets better at it with » Read Full Dead Rising preview

Mar 06, 2006
Plenty of movies have answered the question "what would we do if the dead rose from their graves?" Many games have, too. The problem is that the answers are all too often the same, thanks to how forcefully Resident Evil answered it the first time around. Though it comes from the same company that as that tense adventure game series, Dead Rising is more Shaun of the Dead than drama-soaked disaster - and all the better for it. The unimaginative have figured the easiest way to make an Xbox 360 » Read Full Dead Rising preview

Exactly what it's like when after-Christmas sales go horribly awry
Jan 12, 2006
If movies and games have taught us nothing else in the last decade, we know one thing for sure: zombies are awesome. Capcom delivers the zombies like no other, so it comes as no surprise that one of Capcom's first titles out of the gate for the 360 is (gasp!) a survival horror zombie game. And why not? After the success of the Resident Evil, we're just begging for » Read Full Dead Rising preview
