Ever had your display muck up and suddenly go way too bright? Capsule Computers seem to have dug up a fix.
Kamiya the mastermind behind the best action game of this generation (Bayonetta) has revealed that he would like to announce his game this year.
With all of the good announcements being revealed at this weeks Famitsu magazine, a lot of us are assuming and maybe hoping that Bayonetta 2 will be announced.
How do you like your gun-swinging, high-kicking witch protagonists to look? Happy with a figure-hugging catsuit made of hair that drops off a second's notice? Or would you prefer a big set of sci-fi boots and a long coat? Or maybe something more akin to a Steampunk Harley Quinn would be more to your tastes? Just revealed via the concept artist's blog, it turns out that Sega considered giving Bayonetta a complete character make-over back in 2008, a year or so before the game's release. The intention? Make her more western-friendly. There are six versions just over the jump, and barring glasses they're all a far cry from the leggy latex look she ended up with.

Platinum Games posted another developers commentary video for Bayonetta where Hideki Kamiya, producer, plays through the prologue. Kamiya says animator Eijiro Nishimura hid a beetle in the graveyard scene and there are hidden beetles in Resident Evil 4 too.

He once railed against the creation of a pornographic Bayonetta comic book, as he felt those who truly appreciated the game would never do such a thing. He's not particularly fond of Ninja Theory's take on his other famous creation, Devil May Cry's Dante.
Kamiya takes his games so seriously that he spent the past year recording an audio commentary for Bayonetta. Billing them as, “the inspiration, creation, and intent behind one of the most revered action games of all time,” Platinum Games released the first two parts of the commentary series that promises to span the entire game...
