Gamersfirst is one of the largest free to play platforms arround. They have been running APB (All Points Bulletin) in beta form for about 8 months now. The Gangster filled shooter has had a number of tweaks made to its shooting mechanic, and some stability added to it's servers. Now that everything has been polished, the MMO shooter is ready to launch.

It may be nothing, it might not even be the Dave Jones of Realtime Worlds, but it all seems very fitting after Realtime Worlds went into administration with the loss of 150 jobs. The staff has recieved two days pay, and nothing more. Could Dave be raising funds to buy MyWorld? Or is he selling the cars to pay his staff? Well leave the speculation to you.

Realtime Worlds administrator out to prove that action MMO is a worthy purchase. The administrator in charge of troubled Dundee developer Realtime Worlds have released some stats that it hopes will make MMO APB an appealing purchase for a would-be buyer. The game currently has 130,000 registered users who play the title on average for four hours every day. An average of $28 is spent per user, per month through a combination of game time and user-to-user marketplace trading.

Heres the deal. APB (All Points Bulletin) is doing a promotion where one lucky regular Joe will get to be picked to participate in a 3-week Human Avatar project where the community have an opportunity to transform the guy, just like creating your own avatar in Western RPG games. The community will have a chance to vote for hairstyle, tattoos, piercings, and clothing.

Realtime Worlds, the developer of the recently released MMO APB (All Points Bulletin) and the cult Xbox 360 hit Crackdown, announced today that it would be cutting staff as it transitions to support APBs continuing functions.

M2G Writes: Dave Jones has said Realtime Worlds need a publishing partner if a console version of APB is ever to materialise. Speaking in a recent interview, Jones said the game will only come to consoles should a major partner express interest.
