The Behemoth pledged today to donate 100% of all revenue generated by downloadable content (DLC) for their Xbox LIVE Arcade games Castle Crashers and Alien Hominid HD through January 24th directly to Haiti disaster relief. In addition, The Behemoth will match the amount generated by all DLC downloads, doubling the amount to be donated. All money raised will be donated to American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development.
Gamasutra writes: Indie studio The Behemoth has carved out an incredibly well-defined niche for itself, thanks largely to its games' retro 2D gameplay and striking artwork by Dan Paladin -- and so despite the somewhat unclear nature of its upcoming game, it already has a strong identity. Developer The Behemoth (responsible for the Xbox Live Arcade classics Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers) is gearing up to reveal its third and as of yet untitled effort. The dev has been teasing Game #3 on its blog and on Twitter for some time, updating today with: Trailer for game #3 is complete!

The Behemoth has announced the first shipment of exclusive handmade trophies for the top players of Alien Hominid HD on Xbox Live Arcade. The hand built trophies have been customised with the players Gamertag, high score and date etched into the trophy's base.
Gamespot reports that a second pack of 100 extra PDA mode levels for Alien Hominid HD is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The PDA mode of Alien Hominid is a series of optional platforming levels for the game, featuring rudimentary graphics and puzzle solving elements. While a downloadable content pack released earlier this month featured 100 newly designed PDA levels, the pack released today includes 100 levels from the original Alien Hominid previously only available in Europe. The pack costs 150 Microsoft Points ($1.87).
