WRC: FIA World Rally Championship

While it's a fairly realistic rally experience, WRC doesn't have to be a lonely one. You'll be able to take turns with a friend to compete for the best time, and anyone who prefers more traditional head-to-head racing can test their mettle againstseven other players using a wireless ad hoc connection.

Rally-racing games aren't for everyone, and WRC probably won't be an exception when it hits stores on April 18. But if tearing ass through mud and tight curves is the sort of thing that gets your pulse pounding, then this is worth keeping an eye on.

After graduating from college in 2000 with a BA in journalism, I worked for five years as a copy editor, page designer and videogame-review columnist at a couple of mid-sized newspapers you've never heard of. My column eventually got me a freelancing gig with GMR magazine, which folded a few months later. I was hired on full-time by GamesRadar in late 2005, and have since been paid actual money to write silly articles about lovable blobs.
