Worst Rock-Star cameos of all time

KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child – 2000

Critical shred:Overall, it left a bitter taste in my mouth.” - ActionTrip

Whoda thunk that the band that gave us lyrics like “Shout it. Shout it. Shout it loud” and “Lick it up. Lick it up. Oooooooooooooh” would have produced the incredibly unimaginative gameplay found on PC and the Dreamcast? Well, probably anybody but a Kiss fan, because even Todd McFarlane’s nightmarish designs couldn’t save this first person shooter from looking as desperate and hokey as the band’s latest tour.

Above: ROCK AND ROLLLLL!!

This one is kind of a cop-out since you actually play as a Kiss tribute band, which is notable as the single moment of licensing restraint from a band that’s already sanctioned bicycle shorts, midget cover bands and a f**king coffin. Those are cool, but appearing in a videogame? “We’re just not comfortable with that.” says the band currently selling bibs and wine on its website.

Above: Should’ve been called Peck. It works on almost two levels!

I will say that Crue Ball was the most fun video-game pinball title I've ever played, despite the pasted-in throwaway references to Motley Crue.

I am shocked that you would complain about 10 pages claiming that you "actually have a life". Apparently your life consists of complaining about the length of articles on this awesome sight. Good one!

What about "Frankie goes to Hollywood" on the Spectrum? Although that was actually alright I suppose. Plus, what the hell is wrong with Moonwalker, I loved that game. The car park level with beat it playing was great!

As bad as the SNES/Genesis ports were, the arcade version of Rev X wasn't that bad of a mid-90's arcade-styled shooter.

Hilarious. And how cool is it that now I have a midget Kiss cover band for my backround. My kingdom for a music video.
