Konami have surprised exactly no-one with the announcement of Winning Eleven 8, the latest in their critically and popularly acclaimed footy series.
Details are scarce at the moment, but we can tell you that Master League mode will feature 130+ playable teams (up from 64) and a new "growth and decline" system that seems to be some sort of constantly updated handicapping system. A footy catch-up mode, in effect. Mmmn.
World Soccer Winning Eleven 8 will debut on PS2 in Japan on 5 August. We'll bring you more news on its European incarnation very shortly...
