Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure

The biggest little adventure on the Wii

Getting smooshed didn't really ruin our day. The game lets you start from right where you left off as long as you have at least one of the moderately priced platinum tickets left. Or you can restart from the beginning of the area, which is rarely more than two or three minutes of gameplay behind you.

All of the puzzles are based on applying the right items to the correct objects, which is where the Wii Remote comes into play - sometimes very cleverly. Your controller will become the object you have equipped and must be manipulated correctly to solve the puzzles. We had to open an umbrella but didn't know how until we inspected it and noticed the number 2 was written on the handle. Voila! we pressed the number 2 button on the Wii Remote, the umbrella opened and we felt smart. At other times, you might have to flip the umbrella over to use the handle as a hook, or something else entirely. The best part of the game is figuring out how to manipulate the tools you're given by utilizing the remote.
