WWE SmackDown! vs RAW 2008

SmackDown! demo hits stores

Demo available with pre-order now, hits Xbox Live on Oct 15

Oct 1, 2007

We know, we know - all this talk about the brand new Superstar Fighting System and ECW Extreme Rules match for this year’s inclusion into the WWE SmackDown! franchise has got your tights in a bunch because you haven’t yet sampled the fine musclehead beatdowns. Turn that frown upside down because starting today, October 1, you can obtain a demo of WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008 at select retail chains by pre-ordering the game.

It’s kind of a sparse demo with only three arenas, one-on-one mode (two-player included!) and only four wrestlers - Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley, Undertaker and the Legend Killer himself, Randy Orton - at your disposal. But that should be plenty to satisfy your WWE appetite before the game hits in Mid-November.

Oh and if you’re still not sure these rumbling wrasslers are worth your hard-earned cash, then you can always wait till October 15 when the demo will appear on Xbox Live Marketplace. Please try not to powerbomb your little brother through the coffee table in the meantime though.
