Disney Interactive Studios has teamed up with pop-punk band Plain White T's for content, videos and promotional efforts for its upcoming music video game Ultimate Band. Developed by Fall Line Studio in Salt Lake City, Utah, Ultimate Band takes gamers of all ages on a journey to achieve rock stardom starting as garage-band beginners and working toward the ultimate rock notoriety. With the Plain White T's featured in Ultimate Band, fans can play their favorite band's music in an accessible game with great value.

Disney Interactive Studios sends news about some new venues and of course more songs that will be on Ultimate Band for the Nintendo Wii. The latest additions to the long song list includes Complicated, Get the Party Started, 9 in the Afternoon and more.
Disney Interactive has announced that more songs have been added to the track list for Ultimate Band on the Nintendo Wii: Including all Day and All Night, Stumble and Fall, Move Along and more.
Disney's Ultimate Band is an upcoming music rhythm game for Wii and DS. The game has a tracklist of 30 songs total (all are cover versions) and VGB uncovered the 16 of them that have been revealed so far. These include "Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson, "Fell in Love with a Girl" by The White Stripes, "Make It" by Aerosmith and everyone's favorite "The Great Escape" by Boys Like Girls.
Kotaku writes: "Included in the flood of leaks that sprung earlier today was a flash video showing gameplay in Ultimate Band, a no-peripheral music game due out from Disney for the Wii by the end of the year. (The video did not address proposed versions for the PS2 or DS.)"
The video after the link shows Ultimate Band as a band-based rhythm action game for Wii where all musicians are controlled with the Nunchuck and Wiimote.
By now you've probably heard about Disney's new entry into the music/rhythm category, Ultimate Band, which comes out in the fall.
DailyGame.net reports that yet another new band game is on the way, but with no peripherals, it doesn't sound like it will compete with Rock Band or Guitar Hero. Instead, it'll use the Wii Remote and DS stylus to play instruments.
