Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam

It's a different direction for the Birdman, and it's a good one

Like most of the Wii-exclusive lineup, Downhill Jam serves to prove that the remote can handle games with complex maneuvers. And while this is a bit more button-intensive than Excite Truck, it's still easy enough for casuals to take a crack at (aside from the initial learning curve, that is). There's just enough racing mixed with the right amount of Hawk trickery to make it a successful new direction for the series that definitely has room to grow.

You'll love
  • Race and trick mash-up
  • Great speed, big air
  • Rockin' soundtrack
You'll hate
  • Landing spinning tricks
  • No online play
  • Enough with Rob Zombie
