BeefJack writes: "Looks as if the guys at Robomodo who are behind the upcoming Tony Hawk RIDE are already looking towards a possible follow up. Around 15 jobs have been advertised for work on an unnamed "extreme sports title". While it could obviously be anything at the moment, given Activision's love of yearly franchises like Call Of Duty and Guitar Hero, we could well see a follow up this time next year."

Gamespot: Innovative skateboard peripheral aside, Tony Hawk Ride will benefit from the in-game appearance of a number of skater icons. As announced in late July, Activision has signed 15 pros to lend their likenesses to the game, including the titular Birdman, as well as Paul Rodriguez, Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins, and Christian Hosoi. Perhaps equally important is the game's song roster, and today Activision unveiled the 50 different tunes that are party to Tony Hawk Ride's soundtrack.
ConnectedConsoles: It has today been announced that Wii users will be able to their Mii character on the upcoming Tony Hawk game Tony Hawk: Ride.
SCRAWL: "Tony Hawk: RIDE, Activision's upcoming Tony Hawk title that changes the way skateboarding games are played (get this, you use a peripheral), has been announced today to launch in North America on November 17, 2009 and in the United Kingdom and Germany on November 20, 2009. The game, with the skateboard peripheral, will retail at $119.99.
Got a spare £100?
Activision has announced that Tony Hawk Ride will cost £100 in the UK.
VG247: Activision CEO Mike Griffith just confirmed that Tony Hawk: Ride will only launch in the US, UK and Germany this year.
Joystiq:"Though we could call the list of folks showing their faces in Tony Hawk Ride a whole mess of things, one we wouldn't call it is "celebrity." Rather than drop in famous folks like Steve-O or, umm, Wolverine, the list that Eurogamer nabbed features more actual skateboarders than anything else. "
Speaking to VideoGamer.com at E3 earlier this month, Robomodo president Joshua Tsui revealed that the skateboard peripheral to be released alongside Tony Hawk Ride should be seen as its own platform, with many more games planned to utilise the device.
GameStop as always has made a pre-emptive strike on pricing and they think it will be $120. When contacting a Activision representative they would not comment on the price, simply explaining Activision will release more details on actual price and release date soon.
Activision's Tony Hawk Ride could be exclusive to the Xbox 360 in the UK.
