There has been a lot of buzz floating around this and I myself feel interested as I type this. Nintendo is set to release a little Anniversary Collectors Book called the Hyrule Historia that will contain details about the Legend of Zelda series, and possibly including the Zelda timeline. Something Zelda enthusiasts have been speculating about for the last 25 years. While theres no official statement on this, a heading on the table of contents hints at this. The Tables of Contents shown on the left in the image above , reads this when translated into English (See Below) seems to show the name of the main games in chronological order.

Mark October 21st in your calendar, have that tuxedo pressed and start asking around at your society soirees for a date who loves classical music and owns a Midna costume. Nintendo's Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony Concert series is launching in Los Angeles, in partnership with the producers of PLAY! Imagine, if you will, the Legend of Zelda as an 80s high school movie replete with big hair, fingerless gloves, angsty teens, first wave music and a special kind of melodrama usually reserved for Hallmark cards or grade five love letters. With the German WDR Rundfunkorchester Köln, video game concerts finally find their way to Europe. The upcoming Symphonic Legends concert in September is so popular that it was already sold out at the beginning of this year. Because of the huge demand, WDR and Nintendo Germany now announced a livestream for the music event.
MCV: Series creator Eiji Aonuma says development of new Legend Of Zelda game is 'well underway'
TVGB: While the next Zelda won't be a radical departure from past games, it may yet contain gameplay additions most won't expect. Like flying as a means of transportation, perhaps? If series' director Eiji Aonuma's hints have any merit to them, that may just happen.
Shigeru Miyamoto has stressed in numerous interviews that he wishes to include Wii MotionPlus in Link's first true outing on Nintendo's console. In fact, he has gone as far as to say that there's a good chance the game will require the peripheral.
