Namco Bandai announced today that the latest Tamagotchi game, Tamagotchi Party On!, will be ever-so-cutely heading to Wii this Spring.

Up to four players will compete in a race to become the next president of Tamagotchi Planet. Presented in a board game style format, players will fight for the hearts of Tamagotchi citizens worldwide in over 15 minigame competitions. Candidates must use wonderous power of the Wii-mote to master such skills as hand shaking, finding lost children, and public speaking. Tamagotchi Party On! promises to bring out the fun in politics without all the mudslinging. But, off the record, we heard that Mametchi paid Kuchipatchi like a million gotchi to keep his mouth shut about an affair he had with a certain Tamagotchi lady friend. We always knew that Princess Tamako was a floozy...
