Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Mega Smash Update – Multiple Music Tracks per Level It's that time again and Mr. Sakurai has given us one of hell of a huge update today on the Smash Bros Dojo, not only do we get an awesome new feature, but two more music samples to listen to as well as a new item which affects the music! The 'My Music' feature allows you change what tracks from the stages you listen to and how often they will play. Sakurai says this was done because not everyone started on the same Mario game for example and so these people may recognise tracks from more recent games in a franchise.

Wii News | Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Sept 07 2007 One stage, one soundtrack. It's a pretty standard set up for the fighting genre. But true to form, Nintendo has flicked two fingers at convention and revealed the My Music feature for Super Smash Bros Brawl. Acknowledging that it has a rather awesome back catalogue of music, My Music allows players to choose the likelihood of a given song being played on each stage - check out the pic below. It means old schoolers can square off to some 8-bit era nostalgia while more recent ... » Read More

Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Pokemon Stadium 2 The previous game, Super Smash Bros. Melee, featured Pokémon Stadium, but it's been upgraded for this game into Pokémon Stadium 2.

This time around, you'll see guest Pokémon appearing in the background.

Ordinarily, it's a fairly orthodox stage when nothing special is happening.

But as time passes, the terrain transforms into four different types:
"Electric", "Ground", "Flying" and "Ice." For these four transformations, we've chosen types that were not present in Melee.

Terrain that changes suddenly makes fights excitingly unpredictable.

Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - WarioWare Stage In the WarioWare games, you must master a variety of microgames in 5 seconds, making them the fastest and shortest games ever. You might want to look into it in more detail.

In trying to recreate that atmosphere in Smash Bros. Brawl, Nintendo have created an outrageous stage!

For each challenge you clear, there is, of course, a reward.

Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Gliding Characters like Pit, Meta Knight and the Pokémon Trainer's Charizard are envied at first glance for their wings.

Rumour has it they can use those wings to sail through the sky like gliders.

From the perspective of the rules of Smash, I sense that mastering this skill could be quite beneficial. That is, IF you can master it...

Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Super Smash Bros. Brawl's first boss revealed The Subspace Emissary, Super Smash Bros. Brawl's adventure mode, will feature bosses, according to Nintendo's Smash Bros. Blog, the first one being Petey Piranha. The website's latest update sheds a little detail on the huge boss character and comes up with three screenshots of him.

You'll probably remember Petey as the boss of Bianco Hills in Super Mario Sunshine for GameCube. In Brawl, Petey is bearing down on two iron cages, which imprison two princesses. Nintendo, in sort of a sick fashion, says you're forced to save either Zelda or Peach and asks, "What will happen to the one you don't save?!"

Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Yoshi's Final Smash Super Dragon

It's tough to know what to call Yoshi ¿ some call him a dragon, others a dinosaur. Some people don't know WHAT he is.

But whatever you call him, Yoshi's true power will be seen here!

It feels like, um...beauty and elegance...mixed with clumsiness. Certainly, no one's ever seen Yoshi like this!

Being able to fly around is nice, as is giving undivided attention to his attacks. Yoshi can live as he likes, for a brief period of time.

Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - The Subspace Army New details have been released about the single player element of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, "The Subspace Emissary".

"The Subspace Emissary" storyline introduces a force of formless enemies called the Subspace Army. They are ruled by their commander, the Ancient Minister.

Their objective is to cut apart the world and carry it into Subspace. They use what are called Subspace Bombs to do so.

When a Subspace Bomb explodes, a section of the world gets excised and swallowed by Subspace.

This is a new, never-before-seen form of aggression...but now is no time to stop and stare. Everyone, everywhere, is beginning to move against it.

Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Peach kicks butt in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii Princess Peach is hardcore! Despite dressing in pink, she fights dirty, according to Nintendo's latest Smash Bros. Dojo blog entry. The head of the Mushroom Kingdom kicks Mario in the rear in one photo and flings her DUSF, (designated, ugly small friend), Toad, at Bowser in another. She'd probably bitch slap Zero Suit Samus, too, if the Metroid star pulled any of that tether recovery move stuff from yesterday's update. See more images of the princess, pretty in pink while her opponents are black and blue at Gaming Target.

Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Pokemon Trainer enters Smash Bros. Brawl In a change from the traditional Smash Bros. formula, our generic Pokémon Trainer doesn't get involved with the fighting directly. Instead he sends out his captured critters to do the dirty work for him, that way keeping his attire in perfect condition so that he doesn't have to wash for a week - maybe?

A trio of Pokémon at this disposal doesn't mean three lots of energy, though. Instead, their life is combined. Balancing the abilities of your Pokémon is critical, we'd imagine, especially timing when to bring one in for a rest and sending another out.
