The 2011 Comikaze Expo hits Los Angeles this weekend. The event is hosting the first ever Super Mario tournament in downtown Los Angeles.

Penguins in The Desert Productions are back with their 4th video game marathon. To date the group has raised approximately $12,000 for their local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters. The event will begin Aug. 12th at 7 p.m. Eastern Time and will end when they have completed all 9 games. They will be playing : Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and New Super Mario Bros.
