SD Gundam Scad Hammers [import]

It's hammer time, but you can touch this

Similarly, this smiley approach to Gundam runs through the action, as the usual array of statistics-heavy weaponry is replaced with a ruddy great spiky ball on a cord. Swing the remote down and you heave the ball over your head, while a horizontal flick is matched with an arcing swing.

Initially satisfying, combat grows samey too quickly - there’s only so much Scad Hammering one can stomach - but for a quick robo-bash-’em-up once in a while, this is a likeable introduction to the too often uncompromising world of Gundam.
