Up, down, towards, away, A, down, away, B, A, B. Right now youre either nodding your head, thinking “thats what Im talking about” or youre quivering nervously, waiting for the bad GamesRadar man to stop. To the hardened Kombaters there is no greater thrill than to finger-dance opponents to their deaths with button presses; digit dexterity seeing icy-blasts ripping through human flesh and massive hats flung around with great abandon. To others there's nothing worse - a cruel hurdle ...

Once again the folks at Nintendo and Hudson have managed to gently pat that formidable bottom of the minigame barrel - but without all together scraping it. Mario Party returns, finally on the system it was meant for. If you ever cared for the Party series, then there's no reason the newest entry won't bowl you over. There are over 70 minigames crammed into the disc, and hey, a handful of them you can even play with your Miis. To keep the fanatics playing, you'll earn Carnival Cards that can be ...

What the hell is Legend of the Dragon? Where did it come from and why the hell do we have to play it? We didnt buy a copy, and Lord knows the publisher didnt send us one to review (Always a sign of quality and pride.) From what we can put together, it attached itself to one of wayward editors at a Costco and snuck into our offices like a common cold. And now we know why: Because Legend of the Dragon is a rock stupid fighting game, with the developers putting in as much time and creativity to ...

Let's not even joke around here. Spider-Man 3 on either PS2 or Wii is a waste of time and money. It's ostensibly the exact same game as 2004's Spider-Man 2, only with an uglier city, choppier gameplay and somehow, even worse combat and camera. The fact that it actually looks and plays worse than a game that came out three years ago is simultaneously unforgivable and baffling. This Manhattan doesn't even look like a city. It's a bunch of colored blocks that happened to fall into place and had ...

Forgive our ignorance, but we always assumed that when a nation sets off to war against a well-armed terrorist state, it might commit a reasonable proportion of its air force to the conflict. Not just one rookie pilot and his gunshy wingmates. Still, it makes for a spicy intro to the world of air combat in Heatseeker, and because youre the only one who actually dares to fly any of these missions, you get an entire airfield of military hardware all to yourself. Each aircraft has its own ...

More than a year after the Prince of Persia trilogy wrapped with the awesome Two Thrones, the acrobatic adventure series has finally made its way to the Wii with Prince of Persia: Rival Swords. But while the title's new, don't be fooled - unlike the feature-rich PSP version, Rival Swords is just Two Thrones with fancy motion-sensitive controls. That's a little disappointing, but it's not exactly bad. Repackaged or no, Rival Swords is still a kickass adventure from start to finish, and the Wii ...

Beyond the quick buck that's to be made from its obsessive fans, there's really no reason for Naruto to exist on Wii at all. Its "new" control scheme is better served by the old-fashioned Classic controller than by remote and nunchuk, which achieve little beyond making you look like an idiot while ...

Bust-A-Move as a game in itself is all well and good; shooting balls up into a big wall of sinking colored bubbles, clearing levels by hitting the same color, then moving on to the next. You have to think about aiming cleverly and rebounding off walls and its good as a distraction. Unfortunately, on Wii nothing has changed - apart from using the remote to clumsily aim the shooter - and without any massive attempt to bolster this simple puzzler, it feels like a very weak package for our new ...

Train love is disconcerting at the best of times. Admiring steam engines with their majestic plumes of smoke puffing through rustic vistas is just about understandable, but it takes a real sick cookie to get enjoyment out of the Japanese bullet trains ripping through mile after mile of cold, empty tunnel. So with this latest installment of the popular Densha de Go! arcade train experience focusing on the Sanyo Shinkansen, the bullet train from Osaka to Fukuota, its with some degree of ...

How is it that the GameCube and Wii both launched without a Mario game? Somehow it happened, and here we are, months after Wii took the world by surprise and we're just now seeing the iconic mascot appear on the system. To make things even weirder, it's not a 3D platformer or sports game debut, either. Nope, it's a new entry in the RPG-lite Paper Mario series, the last of which landed in 2004. But in order to make the game more digestible to the non-RPG fan, Super Paper Mario plays more like a ...
