This week brings Assassin's Creed II, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Left 4 Dead 2, and many more anticipated releases. Another PSP-3000 bundle arrives with a very cool Assassin's Creed II Bloodlines entertainment pack. PSP gamers also get the on-the-go version of Little Big Planet. God of War fans prepare to dive into HD with the God of War Collection, which brings HD version of the two original God of War PS2 games (and a God of War III demo!). Wii gamers in North America get the first black colored Wii Remote, Motion Plus and Nunchuk controllers. Capcom's Resident Evil The Darkside Chronicles will be out for the Mature gaming audience on the Wii. The popular Wii workout exergame, EA Sports Active, gets More Workouts. Capcom explain why Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is an on-rails shooter instead of a traditional RE game.

Milla Jovavich is returning as Alice, Ali Larter as Clair Redfield, Spencer Locke as K-Mart, Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield and Albert Wesker will be now played by Shawn Roberts. The full 3D film is set to begin filming in Toronto very soon."

The much anticipated game will hit store shelves on November 27th in european territories. Additionally to the standalone game, a "Zapper-Bundle" has been announced. Paul W.S. Anderson tells Shock Till You Drop that Resident Evil: Afterlife will be his 4th RE film, but not a sequel. Instead the series will be revamped and start as a whole new trilogy. Afterlife will have a bigger budget than the previous films and will see the return of old characters and new ones. The film will also be joining that whole 3D fad that decided to rear its head up from the 70's.
Producer Jun Takeuchi has said he'd like to see the Resident Evil series rebooted after Dark Chronicles.
Unlike the evil enemies you fought against in the previous story, in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, players will fight against the characters' own inner demons. Two of the most popular characters in the series and heroes of the beloved Resident Evil 2, Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield, will be making their return.
Information regarding characters & chapter segments from Capocom's latest Resident Evil game, "The Darkside Chronicles" which is still in development for the Nintendo Wii console has been leaked on several gaming and Biohazard forums. The spoilers list every character that will be playable in the game and also hint at events that take place after the recently released Biohazard/Resident Evil 5. Capcom has requested that Gametrailers & Gamefaqs removed the detailed spoilers. But it's still floating around out there on some sites.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will feature a dynamic difficulty system that will alter the game's difficulty according to how you play the game making it easier, or harder. If you're good at head shots, it'll make them a bit harder to pull off and so on. Of course, if you suck, it'll slacken it up for you.
