Milla Jovavich is returning as Alice, Ali Larter as Clair Redfield, Spencer Locke as K-Mart, Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield and Albert Wesker will be now played by Shawn Roberts. The full 3D film is set to begin filming in Toronto very soon."

Paul W.S. Anderson tells Shock Till You Drop that Resident Evil: Afterlife will be his 4th RE film, but not a sequel. Instead the series will be revamped and start as a whole new trilogy. Afterlife will have a bigger budget than the previous films and will see the return of old characters and new ones. The film will also be joining that whole 3D fad that decided to rear its head up from the 70's.
Producer Jun Takeuchi has said he'd like to see the Resident Evil series rebooted after Dark Chronicles.

Capcom have today revealed the box art for their upcoming remake of Resident Evil called Resident Evil: Archives, which is said to be out at some point in June, 2009.
